I have to say, that I probably have a cat or two at home that could stand to lose some weight.  But it wasn’t until I started reading about pet obesity that I started to realize just how serious a problem this is.

Many veterinarians say that more than half of the nation’s dogs and cats are dangerously obese.   Not only does obesity slow pets down –meaning less activity –and even more weight gain – but there can also be long-term health consequences.
